Words can make no justification for the spectacular beauty of Srinagar. So, begin your journey early in the morning to Kargil from Srinagar by crossing the picturesque village of Sonmarg. After passing the Sonmarg, the tough terrain will begin as the roads later are quite rough and wet till Zoji La Pass. Be careful while driving here and resume your drive to Dras, or Drass is popularly known as 'The Gateway to Ladakh’. Take a break here for a tea and passport check. En-route, we’ll visit Mulbekh Monastery, noted for having a huge Buddha statue. Stretch drive to two passes from where you can enjoy the Ladakh Mountain View and the same route will take you to Lamayuru Monastery – one of the oldest in Ladakh and also known as the moon land of Ladakh. After breakfast, be ready for another drive that will amaze you with its heritage and rich history. Proceed to explore all the major monasteries in the town and we promise their architectural beauty and history behind will leave you stunned and amused. Anti-gravity illusion of Magnetic Hills and a visit to Gurudwara Pathar Sahib will also be a glorious experience.

This morning will be the fascinating one, as you come across the highest motorable road - Khardung La Pass that takes you straight to the valley of flowers, Nubra Valley. After spending a relaxing time there and having lunch at any local eateries, we’ll continue the drive to visit the quaint Sumur and Hunder villages and the famous Diskit monastery. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

This morning, you can spend some time exploring nearby high altitude desert and also take a ride atop a Bactrian camel while navigating the majestic Sand Dunes. Later this afternoon, drive back to Leh via the same route. Stay overnight at the hotel.

After early morning breakfast, we’ll proceed to Pangong Lake via Chang La Pass and visit the famous Shey, Thiksey and Hemis Monasteries en-route. The charming and magnificent panorama of Pangong Lake and colour changing properties of it will astound you. Depart to Leh again via the same route you have come from. The fantastic views are once again ready to amaze you with its charm. Reach Leh by the evening and spend leisure time at the hotel.
